LOS ANGELES – December 20, 2011 – Award winning sketch comedy writer/performer Rick Najera will perform his Showtime Special, “Diary of a Dad Man’ live, Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at La Fonda Restaurant & Nightclub. Diary of a Dad Man is written and performed by Rick Najera and directed for stage by Gary Blumsack.
Najera, currently directing his seventh year of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase and best known as the brainchild of award-winning Broadway comedy Latinologues, will divulge the comedic secrets of fatherhood with the sounds of his father’s advice ringing in his head. Get an up close and personal look at the raw side of parenthood.
“This will be a great night for couples and holiday cheer,” said Najera. “If you’re a parent, you’ll relate and have fun. If you’re not a parent, you might want to put your testicles in the microwave oven and sterilize yourself.”
La Fonda, a staple of Los Angeles dining and entertainment is best known for its live Mariachi and authentic Mexican cuisine.
